Parent Testimonials

"I just wanted to post to say that you have two very extraordinary women working for you and we are so thankful for them! Almost two years ago my son, was diagnosed with developmental speech delay. Thanks to Phaedra and Casey we've come so far that I almost forgot where we used to be! A couple of months ago a video I had taken on our spring break vacation popped up in my time hop. We were on the beach and Evan handed me a bucket and said "got more water!" I was instantly taken back and remembered that a mere year and a half ago I was desperately counting every word that came out of his mouth! It's unbelievable that we were ever there as today I regularly have to say "son, take a breath!" Just two days ago we were on our way back from his grandparent's house thinking he might fall asleep on the way home but nope. He sat in the back seat telling us story after story, I leaned over to my husband and said "remember when we were afraid he'd never talk?"
Phaedra has a really incredible ability, something that just can't be taught or learned. She is able to turn every interaction, every word exchanged, any movement into something that will benefit her client in their session. I really can't fully describe it but she has a way of redirecting and reigning in the attention of her client, she narrates everything in a way that really pulled Evan in. It's just a beautiful and natural ability, I've tried to replicate it and it's not easy!
When Casey was added to your practice we were moved over to her caseload. I was nervous because we loved Phaedra but we were not disappointed! Casey found a really great balance of play and structured therapy that seemed to be exactly what he needed as he started responding rapidly! She was able to make suggestions for small things we could do at home that made a massive difference in his communication and we very quickly went from counting every word to not being able to keep up with everything he had to say!
We are so grateful for both of these wonderful women and their contribution to our son's success! He has done so well that I had almost completely forgotten how desperate and scared I was about his ability to communicate until that video clip reminded me of where we were just a short time ago! We just wanted to express how thankful we are though there are not enough words to be able to fully do so!"
